Keep forgetting/putting aside posting recently. =/ I've managed to make a gallery, with quite a fair bit of affordable items as well as code a layout for it! :D There are still some bugs in the coding of the shop blog though, but it'll have to do for now since I'm unable to find out what's wrong with my coding. @_@

Shop Blog!

So this is the shop blog without coding etc. It doesn't look too bad, although I find it a tad messy xD. It exudes my personality so I left it there. And I had a large enough ego to use my handwriting for almost all the graphics on the page! :D It is MY gallery afterall... Want to see more? You know you want to! The theme is Dreams/wishes. :D Different from your typical galleries I guess? But it makes it harder to find suitable items which fit perfectly into the theme. =/ Oh well. At least it's aptly titled as 'A dream is a wish your heart makes' right? (Familar no?) Still, you ~~should~~ MUST see it! At least see the layout (ignore the shop blog coding problem unless you can tell me how to fix it) and see if you can donate some items to me! :D So there!

Ditavandread's Gallery of Dreams and Wishes

I've decided to put the adoptables idea on hold since I've received 2 dream pets from random strangers! :DDD One is a Tyrannian Peophin while the other's a Maraquan Uni! Which means I don't have to apply for the latter! :D The former's Nirrozin while the latter's Apanthropy! I've managed to get a Faerie Xweetok in a trade too so that'll be 3 dreamies achieved and a hell lot of money to spend. Think I've spent 3m so far and spending more thanks to the arrival of Arbouran today :D. Oh well. They *are* permies...

I've also opened my first doodles request board on the BC boards 3 days ago and took around 8 requests or so. I'll post them up when I've completed them all, 2 more to go! So that's all I've been doing recently. Drawing my behind off xD. I'm almost tempted to make a graphics request board on TDN too ^^;;. I'm biting more than I can chew huh.

Looks like someone is on a graphics spree eh! =D I can't help it! It's so much fun to create new graphics and delve back into the different forms in hopes that I'm still able to make some decent art @_@. I was looking at my neopets shop layout and realised that the shop blog did not complement the overall layout at all. And since I've not gotten dwon to really coding anything yet, I decided to make do with a custom shop blog instead. I would never have used a premade blog when I was in high school... So here is the end result!

Gothic and grungy!

If you think that the bird looks familar, you are right! It's the same bird I drew for my original class design back in 2008. The one which I painfully inked using touchpad ^^;;. It turned out different from what I had in mind but I am quite pleased with the overall result still. Seeing that I'll never touch grunge before I entered JC... The main text reads: Nirvana - Crow's Nest while the subtext is: Welcome to my Nirvana. I wanted to keep the original name of the shop since my username is ditaVANDREAD, so the Vandread theme still holds, just that it has taken a more gothic turn. I drew the embossed skull to fill up the gaping hole since I couldn't find nice stock images to use @_@. I kind of like it though! A few splashes of grunge, stocks, random swirls, cobwebs, handprints etc and we are done! :D Yes, it's pretty much what us Singaporeans will call rojak but hey, that's grunge right? ^^;; Too me ages to code it though... Darn my few years hiatus from coding. Time to learn and start from scratch again. Meh.
